Whats Going On With Halo 3 Online?

Ever since I downladed the new Halo update is had been extremley wierd. 2 specific instances- On the 2nd game I played I went on DLC and we wound up playing one bomb on last resort and yesterday on DLC it was slayer on SAND TARP ( it was spelled exactly like that) And in all games it has been extremley laggy. Whats Going On!!! Thanks.

Bungie, with the update, put in new game variations of the normal maps, like Sand Trap with Sand Tarp, The Pit with Pit stop, and Snowbound with Boundless. As for the lagginess, it's probably the connection of a party leader.
