HALO 3 vs CALL OF DUTY 4?

i have 60 dollars..i want to buy one of this two great games.
i already went to gametrailers to see the reviews and i also
ask to people in my school..but i also want to know what
do you people in the world think of which one should i buy.???
i also play online every single day..which one is better for online multiplayer too?

no competetion. Halo is the best videogame for xbox 360.

Considering the online also, endless match types, maps etc.

i say go with COD 4

yes halo is a hell of a game and it has great multiplayer, but COD 4 has a great story and the multiplayer is also killer.

if you happen to like future weapons and all that then halo is for you and if you like real action and real weapons then COD 4 is for you

either way whatever game you get you will not be disappointed

CoD4 - with 10 prestiges, it only gets boring if you play the same game mode all the time. i rotate between all of them with Domination and Sabotage being my favorties

Halo 3 had a great campaign, lotta fun in co-op but that's where it stopped for me. having to shoot someone 40 times while they jump to the sky just made stomach in the multiplayer.

Call of duty is a good game but the online play is slow and boring the same 1 shot your dead action, if your good, some people think call of duty is harder but you just die more and kill more is all.

Halo is a great game The online play is amazing with different fight all the time and you can actually take a stand if someone shoots you from behind your not dead before you can turn around. Its a fast pace game with lots of action.

The winner is HALO 3 well i hope you take me up on my advice o and halo 3 is cheaper than cod4

Man i have both of those games and i also have gears of war 2...out of all 3 games i play gears of war 2 EVERY DAY online. I cant get enough of it.

Its an absolutely awesome amazing game. There are a couple issues with the multiplayer which allows some players to glitch, laggyness but there is a patch coming out before the end of January to address all of the major concerns.

Even with some of these flaws i simply love playing gears of war it is absolutely awesome.

I recomend that...Halo 3 and Call of duty 4 are both pretty old games anyhow.

O.k so in Call of Duty 4, its a great game, customize your weapons and put perks to help you live longer, but the thing is, it requires this much skill 0. no skill to play COD 4, just run and shoot, oh my god, there goes this guy with a G36C, I'm gonna shoot him. blam, headshot OMG!!!!! he respawns 1 sec. later and kills you wow exciting. Halo 3, is a game that requires a shit load of skill, why? well back then it was fun until the MLG scene, now you got these guys that are generals or never made it to generals now starting new accounts raping little noobs, so Halo will really **** you off. but hey if you become good at it, then you have the right to brag how pro you are. unlike Call of duty everyone is pro. because they are noobs. so instead get Gears Of War 2. And Join the Angels Of Absolution, my Gamer Tag is ArchAngel 099 or add my bro RogueAngel 099.

The question is how do you like to play FPS games? Both games have great storylines for single player and xbox live can be very fun. So what do you prefer...

If you like to play a FPS where you have a shield, can withstand several direct hits with average weapons and still be alive, running and gunning without too much strategy( not I said too much, there is strategy to your gameplay but you are not concerned about being over exposed in the open as much as COD 4), vehicles to drive and fly, more than one plaer on your console connecting to xbox live, and a science fiction feel then I would go with Halo 3. Its a very fun and long lasting game. Tons of offline and online time can be wasted with it.

If you prefer a more realistic, few to one shot kills, choosing important cover to hide behind since wood and other object do not provide adequate cover like in real life, no vehicles, being stealthy and cautious on your tactics, and a modern war feel then I would go with COD 4. The graphics are amazing and the storyline has a great feel to it. I would say this would be a hands-down must own if it had a split screen for xbox live so your friends can join in at your console. But other than that, the xbox live play can keep you entertained for hours just like halo 3, it all depends on how you like to play.

I for one chose COD 4. I have played both since my roommates own halo 3 and I just do not like the feel of Halo 3, its fun but gets annoying when you shoot a guy and in he matter of seconds he regenerates his health behind cover. It just not how I like to play.
