Halo 3 XBOX LIVE Problemo?

When i ty and go on XBOX LIVE it always says 'Information could not be retrieved from the halo 3 server' and i've looked up all the things that you can do like signing in an out and stuff like that but none of it works im really annoyed i've been desperate to go on XBOX LIVE on halo 3 and i can't do it! All the things i looked up said about all these connection things that i don't have a clue about so please, if you can give me some help i really need it!

it happens to me too. Its xbox's lives fault. If it continues to happen it might be something with your internet. Try different games.

it happens alot, sometimes the servers go down and you just gotta wait until they get their act together. I finally got tired of it and traded halo 3 in for the orange box. Portal rox!

It might be xboxlive's servers, they announced that they have been having some problems because of all the new xboxlive users from Christmas.

Recent reports say there have been some issue with Xbox live. It could be that.

XBox LIVE has been having tons of problems lately. You don't need to sign out when that happens. When i get that message, i just change the lobby from "Matchmaking" straight to "Custom Games" and back. Don't go back to the main menu to do it, just transfer lobbies back and forth. It works for me.
