Halo movie: Animation or acted?

Well I was wandering if the halo movie will be done like the cut-scenes or with real people, props and and other fiddley things.

If you are talking about the one that Peter Jackson was in charge of and that is rumored to have Steven Spielberg on board, that movie is a live action movie, not a cartoon. However, it is currently on hold and it is currently unknown if it is going to be made.
However, there have been a few cartoons that have been made and I do believe there is another one coming out soon, though they are all bad and low quality if you ask me.

If they are going to take the time to make a Halo movie they better make it live action with actors. There is absolutely no point in making a video game into an animated movie. If you're one the people who want that just go watch the cutscenes from the game.

Now over the past two years I have given much thought to the cast for the Halo movie; and this is what I have come up with...

Master Chief - Henry Cavill (The Tudors)
Cortana - Natalie Portman (V for Vendetta)
The Arbiter - Keith David (Halo VG)
Sergeant Johnson - Idris Elba (28 Weeks Later)
Miranda Keyes - Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace)
Jacob Keyes - Bill Pullman (Independence Day)
Lord Hood - Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption)

Director - Neill Blomkamp (District 9)
Music - Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight)

I always had doubt that Neill Blomkamp would be able to handle a movie the size of Halo, but after seeing District 9 I have faith in him, since District 9 is the best film I've seen all year, by a very large margin.
