i need help with the halo 3 sound settings?

ok my headset is broke i can only here voices thro my tv i was wondering can i change the sound settings on halo 3 so i can here nothing like the sound effect settings and the music valume and stuff like taht cuz i cant find it no were 10 points for the best answer
i want to change the sound effects not weather ppl can hear me or not i mean the sounds of the game like wen ppl die and shoot i dont want to hear that

Mute it, that way fewer people will know you're playing it and laughing at you.

You need to mute the voices. Press start while in a game. Then go to game settings and then voices and then it will be on something and it will say default next to it and you need to change that to muted.
