Theres no way to gain experience by watching videos Id say the best way would be to start Halo 3 in Easy mode then work your way up to the harder game modes this is what I did and now im a pro

Hmm, well I'd say keep an eye on youtube videos and forum threads. But there's no substitute for experience, you'll learn things the more you play.
