You might as well rent the game, Legendary was easy with a needler and magnum. You should be able to complete the entire game in 3-4 days.

I loved it!!! I do believe you should rent it first just in case you do not like it.
My partner and I finished the game in 4-5hours, it is very short.
I actually started playing ODST before playing any other HALO game. I seriously didn't like halo at all till I played ODST.
