What are the cheapest weapons in halo 3 in your opinion?

The cheapest weapons are, shotgun, sword, hammer, rocket launcher. (the spartan laser is not considered a ''cheap'' weapon because it takes skill to use.

well if you're gonna say the spartan laser is not cheap because it takes skill, then i'm gonna hafta say none are cheap because all require skill.

swords are not cheap because it takes skill to manuever to get to a close range when the person could have a br or even get a kill with a shotty before you beat them down.

Rocket launchers also take skill because a lot of people don't understand the concept of jumping up and aiming/timing where and when the victim is going to land.

Shotgun is not cheap for the same reason as the sword.

hammer is also not hard especially cuz its slower than the sword.

Some weapons are easier to use, but they usually do a good job of putting other weapons on there that can counter it. kind of like a rock paper scissors thing going on.

Nothing is ultimate.

cheapest weapon is by far the needler.. i know it wasnt on your list but there are more people use that... most of the time they are the people that are bad with all of the other weapons...

The shank is pretty cheap as only the shotgun and sniper rifle can kill the opp. but seriously, the rod gun. has multiple uses and 2-3 shots for a kill
