Who are your hardest enemies in Halo 3?

1. Brutes
2. Brute Chieftains(Gravity Hammer and Fuel Rod Guns)
3. Hunters
4. Grunts
5. Jackal Snipers

I'd have to say Jackal Snipers. I mean the Brute Chieftains and the Hunters are hard but the Snipers always kill me with one hit with their carbine or beam rifle. It gets annoying to me. So tell me who's your hardest enemy?

brutes with gravity hammer is so hard to kill in legendary mode, i had 3 guys with me 3 did the shotting and i went in as bait and we still can not kill it, so crazy when it does an jump smash .

Well it depends on difficulty settings, although the jackal snipers are quite challenging at times, on legendary hunters are a real pain in the ass, they take about a YEAR to die but on my usual difficulty setting, normal I'd agree with you and say the snipers they pick you off whilst your blowing the brutes tiny brain out.

Jackal Snipers. I can just stick Hunters and their back will be exposed and I will shot. EASY. The second hardest is Brute Chieftains. Regular brutes are easy to deal with. Grunts?! Come on they are EASY. Even when I am out of ammo I can kill them. Melee or B.

For me the Brute Chieftains, they are hard to kill, Its true that the Jackals are a pain in the neck but once you know where they are its easy.
