Another Halo 3 question?

I've unlocked the used car salesman achievment, so how do i change his (spartan's) helmet?(the achievment unlocks headtsets for spartan)

1. after sign profile in, press start for settings
2. press right and select appearance
3. select armor
4. adjust any of armor types you unlocked

YOU CAN'T CUSTOMIZE APPEARANCE OF YOUR CAMPAIGN CHARACTER

then press right on the d-pad
then select apearance
then armor
then go down to helmets and equip the Scout helmet
and enjoy, its personally my favorite ; )
