How can I stop losing clicks because of geo restrictions?

I came up with the idea of redirecting some “left-over” traffic from my finance blog because I was sick of losing a ton of people due to geo-restrictions. It turns out that someone from a neighboring country visits the site, sees a banner, clicks on it, but then nothing happens—the offer doesn’t work there at all. I’m just wasting clicks and losing money.

Has anyone tried monetizing this kind of “non-standard” traffic so the page doesn’t just show a blank window? Are there any decent options at all? And what about those users who drop off during the verification stage or when the system rejects them? Is there any way to catch them and show them alternative ads so the page doesn’t just go to waste?

Oh, that familiar pain—I myself turned a blind eye to rejected sessions for a long time, until I realized just how much money was slipping through my fingers. Usually in cases like this, you set up smart overlays that trigger automatically based on the right geo-location or when a user declines. For my products, I connected to the retarget.gg service, where you just install a single script, and then the system automatically pulls up relevant offers for blocked users or those who didn’t pass KYC. It turns out to be a decent second source of income with practically no hassle. How much traffic do you actually get per month? Because if it’s just a couple dozen users, it might not be worth the trouble, but if there’s a decent flow—you definitely need to monetize it.
