How did You enjoy Halo 3?

A lot of people didnt like Halo 3, so I just wanted your opinion on it. I loved the game by the way, its in my top 5 favorite video games.
One more thing I forgot, oh yeah, When I asked the question I didnt say anything about COD4, so leave it out, yes I also have it and ts a great game, but I didnt ask about COD 4

I thought the campaign was extremely lacking in fun levels. Far too many Flood levels. I think the Flood is stupid and completely unneccessary in Halo 3. They should have just cut-scened the Flood parts of the game so you didn't actually have to fight the stupid things.

The online is where it's at. There is nothing that makes you happier than owning every time you play online.

For the record, I am getting sick of people comparing Halo games to COD4. The game is horrible. Story mode was lackluster, the graphics have looked better on the Playstation 2, and the online is filled with a bunch of overplaying douche monkeys that want nothing more than to glitch as many times as possible (and when they can't, they snipe everyone through the end of the match). I hate online games where less than 3 bullets can kill you. Where is the redemption in that? Step out and look for an enemy? Oops, shouldn't have done that. Popped in the face before I can even tell what happened. Halo actually takes teamwork, determination, and skill. You actually have to work for your kills. COD4, you can just wait behind walls and pop people as they walk by with a couple shots to the nuts. No thanks...

I enjoyed it though not as much as halo 2 though my young son loves it too. Personally though I preferr Gears much more because it is more realistic you reload and crouch hide behind cover etcc. Multiplayer is lame in my opinoin because all people do is run , hop and slash alot. So I prefer other games online much more but HALO is an institution much like Star wars is and with halo wars fe: strategy was what was lacking and here it comes.

I use to be crazy over halo. I would play it 24/7 online but then i started getting addicited to call of duty 4 and its honestly been over a year since i have really played halo. After playing call of duty halo just seems childish and to unrealistic. Its not as fun either, if you havent discovered it, try it out!

I'd give it a 9.0. Story was sort of typical, and the online was great, apart from the fact that I don't like games where it takes many shots to kill someone (I like the 1-shot kill in COD4). By the way, I think it got completely owned by COD4.

I personally liked it a lot. fun story, amazing graphics, and plenty of other stuff to do with the video recording, and map maker.

also definitely the best multiplayer of the 3 with so many matching options and a better level and xp system.

Good question.

For some reason I just didn't get into the hype of Halo 3 and never bought or really played it. I loved Halo, and played that ALL the time with friends. Halo 2 was alright, but not as "fun" as the first, but we played it all the same. And then my love of Halo just faded...and I could never put a finger on why that was...
