Passive learning vs real skill change - what actually works?

Hello. I’ve been cycling through self-growth apps and content for a while, but I’m starting to feel like most of it is passive - I understand a lot, but don’t really change how I think or perform. Did passive learning ever actually work for you long term, or did you need something more hands-on to see real improvement?

Hey, I had the same experience. I found a Reddit post reviewing MasterClass, Mindvalley, and especially RiseGuide - and it basically confirmed my feeling. riseguide stood out because it’s not passive content - it forces active reps like thinking and speaking under pressure. That shift is what actually started changing how I perform, not just what I know.
