Where can I find ATMs and rental cars at Toronto Pearson Airport?

I’m currently applying for a Canadian visa to attend a major developers’ conference in Toronto. Since the organizers are covering all my travel expenses, I’ve decided not to use public transportation but to rent a comfortable car right after I arrive so I can freely drive around the city and the surrounding areas of Mississauga.

Could you tell me if the car rental companies’ offices are located right inside the airport terminal, or if I need to take a separate bus to get there? Also, are there any reliable currency exchange offices or ATMs from major banks in the terminals where I can safely withdraw some local currency for initial small expenses and tips at the hotel?

Congratulations on your trip and may everything go the way you want it! I went there for business and I also rented a car. Everything was okay. The rental counters are right on the premises, so I didn’t have to go far, and they gave me the keys quickly. On top of that, currency conversion and money matters were handled so smoothly. Toronto Pearson Airport is a huge gateway that not only has plenty of ATMs but currency exchange counters as well offering favorable rates in every terminal. You may check the info yourselves.
